The quality of food and drink never disappoints. The only downside is that it is a smaller space and can feel crowded and be loud. If you can get past that it is a must go!

Had the pleasure of dining here last night and it was excellent! It's a small establishment, but the decor opens the space nicely so there is room to get by. A great little bar to one side and a larger dining area to the other. The lights were dim, tones of red and neutrals throughout, staff was very courteous, and our waitress Lea was ready to help with our choices as we were first times. We orders their famous sushi nachos and I absolutely loved every bite! Like sushi salsa on a perfectly sized tortilla! The sweet basile noodles with shrimp are definitely a new favorite for me! Wouldn't think twice to order both again. The sushi was so flavorful, and gyoza bursts with flavor after a crisp bite into the pan fried dough. The table was small, but staff kept up with removing items and our waitress rearranged items to fit perfect. Love trying new places, and this was worth the 45 minute drive in my opinion. 😊

I love the atmosphere of this restaurant! It is packed during the weekend! Reservations are recommended due to its popularity! The sushi 🍣 here are delicious! The chefs do care greatly about the quality of the dishes that they bring out. The selections of sushi are plentiful with specials posted on the wall. The prices coincide with the quality and big crowd. This is a true treasure in Northborough.

Asian fusion at its finest. Anna does an amazing job combining Thai and traditional Japanese cuisine.

Fantastic food only to be topped by the wonderful service. In our most recent visit, the staff managed to discover that one of our party was celebrating a birthday (which was by no means obvious or loudly discussed (more than at the greeting) and without notification, brought a wonderful dessert (with candle.) We couldn't have had a more enjoyable evening!

Delicious food and great staff

Always top, notch phenomenal food! Quality and taste cannot be beat!! Drinks, sushi and entrees never disappoint. Personal favorites are the Jaxson Roll, lobster rangoons and either the Thai Basil Noodle or Rice (both are outstanding).

Great sushi, fun place for a family or group. Unfortunately, it's often very loud due to the number of people and the tight space the tables are packed into. They serve good drinks and some sufficiently stiff but tasty scorpion bowls for sharing for an evening. I enjoy their sushi very much, but many of the rolls I find to taste pretty similar, so perhaps only the finest tuned taste buds will truly appreciate some of the differences between rolls. Also note, their sushi menu is comprised of a huge selection.

Amazingly sushi, but you will pay for it. Nice atmosphere, strongly suggest you get a reservation. Bar has nice happy hour. Good service.

Food is good, but portion is very small and it take. Long time for the food to come. I have been there twice, both time I feel the same.

Excellent Japanese fusion food. Custom maki, premium cut sashimi and a selection of Thai stir fry and rice dishes. Great service and the owner is really a wonderful, hard-working person. Best sushi in central MA.

Been here probably 7-10 times. 99% of the experience is just top notch. Great staff, great food, fair pricing for the quality of the food. The only thing I will so, is they to put a little money into uodrainf the place. The menus are all beat up, bench cushions are looking ratty, floors are dingy, etc.Something that's probably just me being me, but they could expand their beer selection too. We live in the golden age of beers in arguably the best area of the country for it. I get that beer and sushi are the most common of bedfellows, but I think a lot of people might give it a shot. Especially citrusy or sour ales. Could be a great combo.

Amazing. Quite literally the best sushi I've had in a long time; quite possibly ever. Incredible service from the wait staff. Very friendly place with reasonable prices. My wife and I came around 6:30 on a Wednesday and it wasn't too busy. Within 15 mins of being seated, the entire restaurant filled up. I'm from out of town, so if you live locally come early or arrive later. I would happily wait for a table here and will certainly return next time I'm in town.

Good sushi. The price is what you would expect for this kind of quality. The dining area gets quite a bit noisy so just be prepared.

The staff were polite and pleasant. It was a busy atmosphere. My sashimi did not seem that fresh, it was bland and pale pink tuna.

Ordered online and got a pickup time in the confirmation email for 90 minutes later. I arrived on time... and then waited another hour in the parking lot... and still no sign of the food.

My wife and I grab a meal here a few times a year. Always amazing food, always great atmosphere, just an amazing time! I ordered some chicken Pad Thai, some salmon, yellowtail and tamago sushi and a "Yamatude" spicy cocktail!

Best sushi

Creative and delicious sushi rolls along with the usual suspects, plus Thai and Japanese appetizers and entrees. Lots of vegetarian options. Absolute must-try items: Yama Nachos to start, the Lobster Bomb and Jennifer (vegetarian), Pineapple Fried Rice (chicken or shrimp), and for dessert- their famous chocolate souffle and fried ice cream. Be sure to order the souffle when you order your entrees-it takes 30 minutes to cook but so worth it. Lovely staff who go out of their way to make your time there an enjoyable experience. Reservations recommended-it's on the small side and fills up quickly.

Great little sushi restaurant in Northborough. I think the only con for this place is also a positive. It is often very busy during peak dinner times so you might want to come a little early or later if your schedule allows it. I feel like it being busy is a positive because that means we'll have a great sushi restaurant in the area for a long time to come :) Also the wait staff is great as well. At one point during a visit they ran out of Sprite, and that was the kids "special treat" for the evening. She ran over to the minimart next door and bought them a Sprite.

Best sushi around. The roles that I would recommend are the Belichick the lobster bomb and the Cataldo. This place is extremely overpriced for the area but you do get what you pay for... excellent quality sushi. You're essentially getting top Boston quality sushi for Boston prices in the MetroWest. If you want to enjoy but save some money come during their bar hours and sit at the bar you get a lot of the really good things on the menu for half price.

Delicious fresh sushi and very friendly staff. They missed to give me any chopsticks, spoons, soy sauce or napkins on a moderate sized pick-up order during a rather busy eve and therefore the 4 stars. Was my first experience. To be fair the restaurant looked packed and there was a queue of people waiting to be seated. Looking at the inside of it, it offered a nice cozy atmosphere despite the crowd. I have not dined in there yet but i would definitely like to try that, maybe on a less busy day. They offer both reservations and drop-in so it might be a good idea to book one's table during weekends.

My husband and I have been here many times. The food has always been great! This time we brought our children and other family members. We were EXTREMELY disappointed in the service and the food! We had reservations for 5pm (kids are young and VERY well behaved). We got our first round in a timely manner. Our second round, from the same first order, never came. It took 45 minutes for white rice! Our second and third order was wrong and took forever! We had to ask for our waiter as he would NEVER acknowledge or look at us! Unknowingly we asked the OWNER to get our waiter and she did NOTHING! Needless to say we were there for 2.5 hours with MINIMAL food and 2 starving children. The kicker is when we were leaving the OWNER stopped us to talk and we told her of our concerns. She seemed devastated. My husband left his number at HER request, saying she would call tomorrow. This was a week ago....still waiting! Even after I called and left a message. SO DISAPPOINTED!
